Airbnb 3D Tours for Swiss Hosts

Specialist package for short-term rentals: 3D tour + HD stills + floor plan. Guests who walked through the apartment before booking arrive with correct expectations and cancel less often.

Why Airbnb hosts invest in a 3D tour

On Airbnb, guests decide a booking based on photo galleries that all look the same — because most are shot with a smartphone, in no specific order. A professional 3D tour is the first real differentiator. Guests immediately understand the layout, see how the double bed sits against the window and book with fewer pre-booking questions.

We know of no reliable figures on how much a 3D tour changes the nightly rate or cancellations – so we do not quote any percentages. What is certain: guests see what the flat really looks like before they book. That helps prevent disappointment and unnecessary questions.

What's included in the Airbnb package

  • 3D tour with Dollhouse view
  • QR code gallery image for the tour, ready to upload to your Airbnb photo gallery
  • 15 HD stills from the tour in landscape format — straight from the scan, good enough for a strong Airbnb listing
  • 2D floor plan for the “Where you'll sleep” section
  • Cover photo recommendation for your listing
  • Optional drone shot of the exterior / location for premium locations
  • 24 months hosting of the 3D tour included

Show your 3D tour on Airbnb too

Airbnb cannot embed Matterport tours directly. The common workaround: a QR code as an image in the photo gallery – many hosts already do it this way. Anyone who scans it walks straight through the apartment.

We create the QR code for you. You receive a finished gallery image with the code for your tour and simply upload it.

Note: Airbnb officially does not allow links to external sites in listings (Airbnb policy). Whether Airbnb accepts an image with a QR code is up to Airbnb – whether you use it is up to you. The example shows our own capture (Schaffhausen, 103 m²); the code opens the real tour.

Multi-listing hosts and property management

Hosts with multiple listings (managers, multi-property operators) get a dedicated model: volume pricing from 5 properties, consistent visual language across the entire portfolio, a shared brand-look template for all tours. Details on request.

For owners who alternate between long-term and Airbnb, the 3D tour is doubly useful: the same tour in the Homegate listing and, via QR code, in the Airbnb gallery, the same photos, the same floor plan. One date, both business models covered.

FAQ

Questions about Airbnb tours.

Do I need a 3D tour for my Airbnb?

If you want higher booking prices and fewer pre-booking enquiries, yes. Guests who walked through the apartment before booking arrive with correct expectations, leave better reviews and cancel less often. We offer an Airbnb package including 3D tour, HD stills from the tour and floor plan at a fixed price.

Can I embed the 3D tour in my Airbnb listing?

Not directly – Airbnb does not support embedding Matterport tours. A common approach is a QR code as an image in the photo gallery; we deliver it with every tour as a finished gallery image. Airbnb officially does not allow links to external sites in listings, so whether you use the image is your decision. Without restrictions, the tour works on your own website, for direct bookings and on property portals such as Homegate.

How much does a virtual tour cost in Switzerland?

For an average apartment, the publicly published prices of Swiss providers range from roughly CHF 400 to CHF 1,200 per property; small units start at around CHF 275, and large or commercial properties reach CHF 2,000 and above (survey of 22 August 2026). RoomView360 works with three fixed-price packages: Basic CHF 390 (up to 100 m²), Pro CHF 690 (up to 200 m²) and Premium CHF 1,190 (up to 350 m², drone included). First-time clients receive a 15 % discount on their first project. Which items quotes regularly leave out is set out in our guide “What does a virtual tour cost in Switzerland?”.

How long does the tour stay online (hosting)?

Basic package: 12 months. Pro package: 24 months. Premium package: 36 months of cloud hosting included. Renewal afterwards: CHF 60 per year. During the hosting period the tour is available through a permanent link – for listings on Homegate or ImmoScout24 – and can be embedded as an iframe on your website.
